Summer seed varieties include:

You can never wrong with this herb – aromatic & full of nutrients. Great in pesto, as a garnish and mixed into your summer salads.
Contains protein, vitamins E, A, K, B6 and C, calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, copper, and potassium!
Takes around 10-12 days to germinate and approximately 7-8 weeks to mature, ready for harvesting.


Beets Bulls Blood
Gorgeous contrasting colours and jammed packed with goodness. The pop of colour looks awesome in a salad!
Contain vitamin A & C, calcium, magnesium, iron, folate & potassium.
Ready to harvest in around 18 days.


Add some beauty to your plate with this stunning bright blue flower! Deliciously edible, with a distinct cucumber smell and taste.
Rich in vitamin A & C, iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, potassium & omega 6.
Takes are 60 days maturity from direct sowing.


Cherry Tomatoes
These little cuties are fabulous in salads, especially Caprese. Also, a great addition to the kiddies lunchboxes or in vege kebabs on the BBQ.
Excellent source of vitamin A, C & E, high in fibre & antioxidants.
Takes around 7-14 days to germinate and approximately 11-15 weeks to mature (all good things take time…)


Chia has a slightly bitter fresh minty taste, and it’s quite mild so the children love them. Add to salads, sammies, smoothies or soups.
Highly nutritious and vitamin rich microgreen, that’s also high in calcium.
Takes around 8-12 days to mature. Harvest at 2cm high (just before they start to fall over.)


My number one herb to use in Asian and Mexican dishes! I mean, what’s a guac without coriander?!
Particularly rich in vitamins A, C and K, and is an antioxidant super food that’s high in fibre.
Ready to harvest in around 65 days from sowing.


Divine edible flowers, and the scattered petals look gorgeous in salads. Or if you want to use the whole flower, add them into your summer drinks as a garnish. The petals have a slightly spicy, clove-like flavour with a slight sweetness.
The flower buds contain biotin, folate, vitamin C, calcium, protocyanin and flavones.
Ready to harvest in about 10-12 weeks from sowing.


Cress Curled
A super herb with a peppery taste (aka pepper grass.) Yummy in your lunchtime sammies and soups.
Contains vitamins K, A & C, B complexes, calcium, iron, magnesium, folate & potassium.
Ready to harvest in around 7-14 days.


Lettuce (Drunken Woman)
Our Italian gal with her bright leaves and bronze ends. Mix her into a summer salad and she’ll treat you well.
Ready to harvest in 60 days from sowing (can pick the leaves off or harvest as a whole.)


Best way to use mesclun? In a salad. The perfect pairings? Bacon, blue cheese, sweet red peppers. Yum yum!

Japanese greens/Chinese lettuce. The foliage has a mild fresh crisp taste that can be added in all types of salads or cooked with meat.

Pak Choi
If anything deserves the term superfood its Pak Choi – packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fibre. Great in a stir fry with other veges, or pan fry it with garlic, and chilli!

Has a tangy, peppery flavour – the perfect addition to your morning eggs and fab on a pizza with prosciutto!
